I Will Wear Your Beret Papa

The 12 black and white photographs document the arrival of Parajanov: The Last Spring and its helmer to the premiere in Spain in winter of 2007 to unveil Sergei Parajanov's life to the Spaniards.

I Will Wear Your Beret Papa is a photographic requiem by Martiros Vartanov in memory of his father Mikhail Vartanov (1937-2009).

The images capture Mikhail Vartanov in his famous beret on the streets of Pamplona, as well as his meetings there with Andrei Tarkovsky’s sister Marina Tarkovskaya, Russian directors Aleksandr Gordon and Herz Frank, and Jean Vigo's daughter Luce Vigo.
